About The Class
Mastering The Basics of Yoga
This workshop is a perfect way to start your practice if you are totally new to yoga or anyone looking to enhance and revisit the fundamentals of yoga.
During this 2.5 hour workshop you will learn the benefits, healthy body alignment and breathing technique for each of these basic yoga asanas (yoga poses):
- Sun salutation
- Downward Dog (Adho mukha svanasana)
- Chaturanga Dandasana
- Warrior 1 (Virabhadrasana I)
- Warrior 2 (Virabhadrasana II)
- Warrior 3 (Virabhadrasana III)
- Triangle Pose (Trikonasana)
Emy will give personal attention and guide you step by step across each asana. This workshop creates a strong and safe foundation so you can apply these asanas to many different styles of yoga.
